The Budureasca vineyards are located on the same parallel with the famous Bordeaux and Burgundy regions of France, nicknamed the “Wine Parallel”. The ideal climate and soil conditions allow us to obtain every year, Romanian white, red and rose vinified wines, especially dry or semi-dry.
The southern positioning, the long period of sunshine throughout the year and the extremely fertile soils, formed by chernozem and limestone, work together to give Budureasca wines very special aromas and properties. Black grapes, such as Feteasca Neagră, Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon are the most advantageous to the environmental factors in the area, because they need a higher amount of energy to ripen properly and reach full maturity.
The conditions in the Dealu Mare area, respectively the southern exposure, the long period of sunshine and the calcareous soil, also favor the assortments of white wine and rose wine, especially the very aromatic ones, such as Tămâioasa Românească, Fume or Sauvignon Blanc.
